Just what i thought after reading this on another forum

if you had a clue about cars you wouldnt right things off, my car is a lot lighter then yours, has a turbo that dont lag, is about half the size of yours and is performance/sports car killing beast, ive beaten BMW M3s with well over 325BHP, ive beaten scooby WRX Stis, and i even upset a porsche 911turbo owner by beating him to 130 without a problem, dont think people like seeign Ł60,000 sports cars beaten by a Ł3,500 fiesta turbo. the engien conversion im doing next yr isnt to race single turbo skyline GTS-Ts its so i can get on the track and mix it up with 500BHP cossies, twin turbo Skyline GTRs and 500BHP scoobies.

F355s are slooooow... me n pon was riping one a new asshole @ bedford in a standard MR2

hell, even my saph was all over him, even on the straights

quite funny people thinking 200bhp RSTs and 911 turbos are in the same league it's like a Dootball match between nowhereseville FC and Chelsea

Jim,

You are extremely deluded if you think your car is ANY match for a 355. Yes I admit a 355 is every MR2 owners wet dream but it is still a 175mph supercar and will destroy any cossie stage 3 or under, end of story!!!

As for the extract from another Forum regards that fiesta I suggest someone direct him to this site so I can personally rip him a new ar*ehole. ROFLOL

355 driven properly will see 60 in 4.6 secs and max out around 175 - 180mph. A stage 3 T34 4X4 may be able to match it to 60 but will be history soon after. A 2wd stage 3 saph/3dr is a joke in comparison especially top speed. A friend of mine used to have one and I thought it was VERY good especially when raped round to 8500rpm in every gear!!!

Karl, said F355 driver was trying, he was a proper track day warrior... not letting faster drivers past on the straights then holding them up in the corners.

took me a while to get past him as i'm not that good a driver, but was surprised by how slowly he was pulling away on the straights. i'd say a stg1 cossie wouldnt have struggled to keep up.

pon passed the bloke on the 1st lap tho

ps the bloke had the roof down if that makes a difference? drag n all that (i'm awaiting sum1 to tell me F355s arent convertible )

Obviously the driver was a complete tosser as a 355 driven properly will totally destroy ANY similar power cossie!!

LOL I have to laugh that you and Pon actually think your cars were faster and better round the corners!!!

One word............DRIVER

911 Turbo, 8,000,000 BHP, huge tyres 4WD loads of weight on the rears=TRACTION.

Fiesta turbo, skinny tyres, floor it and it does wheelies=no traction.

Which do you think will be faster? And that extract from that forum...
Beat one to 130?? Was the 911 driver asleep?
