been speaking to a bloke that used to own my old S2 with a 1900 lump.
it consisted of

1800 sierra block
1600 rst crank and rods
2L zetec pistons
1800 zetec alloy sump

does this sound right would 2L pistons go in 1800 block ok??

depends mate, the 2.0l zetec pistons are about 86mm dia, and it could be that the 1.8 CVH has the dia pistons (maybe an over bore?) and a shorter rod thus making the 450ccs's per cylinder instead of the zetecs 500cc's per cyl.

I don't know for sure but have heard that same formula of parts being used before to create one!

if/when you do build your own let us know how you get on as the sump is the bit that interests me as i've heard before you have to weld the top half of the 1.8 sump to the bottom half of a 1.6 sump as the 1.8 sump don't fit.

However i have heard of someone else using a Zetec sump which bolted straight on?

2ltr Zetec pistons are 84.8mm dia. CVH ones I believe are 80.Xmm, so I'd have thought not. Why would you want zetec pistons in it anyway

I don't think they are mate to be honest, theyre far too big.
