we done a photo shoot of a fiesta cossie one on ebay at the mo, that painted in just a tinter, but its orange lol, fokin nice colour.

he said the paint cost just under £600

think you have to paint the car white first too, and its gotta be perfect other wise the inter wont work... summut like that

I remember painting my black escort estate I used ONLY ICI gear ... cost me over 600 plus the primer (again ICI )

ANd that WAS BLACK ... though I did clearcoat it, as I was advised to and didnt know any better

Damo - I presume "clear" is the same as lacquer? I know nothing about this stuff, but why would you NOT put clear on?

clear laquer yeah... I wantted BLACK BLACK which obviuosly I got, but clearcoated it too, didnt affect it in a bad way but I know now, it does "lighten" the colour slightly ... IMO there is no need to clear if you are using "solid/straight gloss" paint, only need clear if using basecoat or doing something fancy... Just my opinion though.. remember I aint a time serve pro painter

right then next question mr v, does paint go off? for example if i was to buy the paint over a period of time and keep it in my garage unopened, will it be ok months possibly a year down the line?

Fast ford may 99 I was robbed of the cover by a black MAXI kitted RS2000

and in a recent edition, where they picked it as one of thier top 5 fav feature cars over the last 20 years IIRC ... to say I was chuffed would be an understatement (all my OWN work too )
