Default Mondeo V6's

Is there anything apart from the normal Mondeo stuff that goes wrong with these?

I had one a couple of years back and know about the water pumps occasionally going wrong, cats cracking up and I know the starter motors are a real bitch to change as well

Been looking for either a GhiaX or ST24 H/back for the wife and they all either seem to be stupid mileage/ on the hit list/ or pieces of shit/ or saloons that look shit.

Any ideas where to look apart from the autotrader and E&M?

Nath, check out http://www.adtrader.co.uk no pics on there tho unfortunately. You could also try eBay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...482941600&rd=1 <-- there's one for a start, 34k miles or an older N reg: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...483098001&rd=1 or a Ghia X: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...482955824&rd=1 . Obviously there's a few more but just thought I'd post a few for ya. Hope that helps.

i got a ghia x that im thinking of selling, been in the family for around 3 years, but looking to switch to a smaller engine as i do loads of silly round town trips which guzzle the fuel.
it a 97 preg, got 125k on the clock (but it was a company car at some point before we got it),
its been looked after by my dad ( lloyd on here)
its a bergundy colour, never had a problem with it since my dad bought it
let me know if youre interested
