Default 1/4 miling!?

Right I have gotten the taste for this now lol!

only done about 6 runs @ brunters but I am hooked & wanna get faster!

now i understand launchin is just practice so i aint gunna ask about that but what i will ask about is tyres & wheels

i ran cheap budget lookin a lil bold on the inners shite road tyres on 17s now i wont get 15s over me brakes so would 16s b better!? & would proper slix help!? if so what sort of compund!?

also revs i was revvin just past where the car makes power & changin? is this the best way or should i have revved her a lil harder!?

I would assume there is a lot more grip @ pod than brunters!?

slicks will help and you need the softest compound available to let some heat get into them.

I found brunters surface better even when it was freezing cold, slicks would help alot and work well at pod, also raise the back end
16s might help but best way the find out is to borrow some and try em out!
oh and learn to drive

I would be surprised if your wheels are 6x16". More likely 6.5 or even 7.

I reckon 16's are the ideal size. Put the smallest tyres possible on for 1/4 mile (not that I would know!!)

Also, IMO, there is TONS MORE grip at Brunters than at Santa Pod.

circuit slicks are no good for drag racing end of
The RIGHT tyres and suspension set up will pick up a second easily. what is funny how all this advise is coming from cars that aint done anything impressive.

Your car has 12second power no probs

BFG drag radials, 205/40x17's they will grip better that a circuit slick and there treaded. but they done last long on the road.
Suspenion bump and rebound rates are more import than the overall stiffness/softness, are you on coil overs~?

Whats this mod? pm if you prefer.

BRUNTERS IS LOADS BETTER THAN POD IF YOU HAVE ALL THAT POWER 13'S SHOULD BE EASY TBH ups caps lock the power needs to be delivered very smooth so i quess ya odd rodder counts that out lad lol just kiddin hope you did well but i will put money on you didnt get into the 13's your set is wrong for that ,danny has given u the best advice so far look at spring rates and weight transfer IMO only for what its worth
