whys 5.1 better than dot 4 ?
i presume you cant mix the two but what happens if you do ?

Dot 5.1 is synthetic and dot 4 is mineral so NO you cant mix the 2.As they also have different heat ranges.And the 2 would heat up at different rates.Think there is also a problem with water absorbtion.

It should be ok.When was it last changed.Always worth chnaging it if it aint been chnaged for a while especially if you do the occasional track day etc.
