Toyo R888 tyres who's using them, are they anygood ?

Are their any alternatives, did a trackday on road tyres & they were useless what other track/road legal tyres are their as i'm struggling to find any.

Do a search on the Mitsi forums, I seem to recall them saying they are very soft and "go off" to easy as per road tyres.

My brother uses them on his 330bhp 4x4 saph cossie, and they have made a serious improvement to the lap times he's been getting

So far they have done a track day at Castle Combe, and National Day yesterday, and will probably do another track day as well before they'll be ready for being replaced. They've also done some road milage as well.

As far as i know, they seem to work well thru a 15-20minute session, but yesterday at National Day it took a few sessions playing with tyre pressures to get the tyres to behave perfectly, so perhaps this is where people are finding issues?

Certainly a marked improvement over road tyres, and are very cheap compared to other road legal track day tyres!

just got some fitted on my 4x4 rush, it previously had yoko AVS. not had the car on the track with the 888's but there is a huge increase in grip on the road, it really could use better brakes now!
