LOL @ Lee in sarcy mood today
Adam - aeroquip works like this.
There are lots of different size fittings and hoses, but most can be broken down into two types - PTFE lined and non.
PTFE lined is the stuff you will find on brake lines, and in use on some other applications.
The non-PTFE stuff is what's usually used for breathers, fuel lines, coolant etc.....
Attaching fittings is either done with swaged ends (where it is effectively crimped to the hose) or with screw on cutter fittings. The swaged fittings are most often used in BSP applications (your oil cooler probably has BSP fittings on the top), where the proper red and blue stuff is a cutter fitting.
Look at my resto thread to see a step by step pic explanation of the cutter fitting, and the PTFE lined olive fittings.

What pipe split on you adam??
Just to give you a "basic" idea this is -6 and is for fuel line, there is about 2.5 mtrs of hose and a few connectors
cost about 140 quid

Okay, then you need hoses with swaged 5/8BSP fittings.
The only problem with them is you NEED to know the orientation of the angle of fitting - my old ones were exactly the same...........

so, did it cut through on the servo baracket??
As you have the hoses already made, you coud just unbolt them and send them away or visit your nearest Pirtek and they can replicate them mate

Adam - best bet.....................
Phone up Think Auto and speak to Matthew.
Tell him you've got some hoses you want replicating in braided, and send him what you've got - job's a good 'un.

Please only ever use PTFE lined for fuel hoses.
If you get the rubber stuff the fuel vapours penetrate the rubber and your car will forever stink of fuel.
Think are good - but there are cheaper places

I've just been looking and a complete Aeroquip setup, including a new oil cooler, came to Ł250... Does that sound right ?
Can you use the "push on fittings" with the Aeroquip braided hose ?
From the take off plate, i would need 2x -10JIC x 5/8BSP- aluminium, then 2x Female 90 degree -10JIC Doubleswivel- Aeroquip, then braided hose....

Ah yes...............
Adam -I may have a few -10 to 5/8 BSP adaptors kicking about.
How many parts have you got on your cooler setup? It'll be far better to use proper aeroquip as you're intending to do, than use a mish mash of parts. More expensive in the long term, but well worth it.

I've got a mixture of stuff kicking about Ian.
That stuff pictured is the same as Dave mentions, the rest of my stuff is all Goodridge as pictured here:
I've got some Earl's stuff on the car in places, as they keep a good stock of adaptors........
99% of the time though I use Goodridge as the service and support is excellent.
