Just had this iffy email from paypal






The email is unverified by hotmails sender ID and the whole thing appears in the email almost as an attachment with the whole letter acting as a link instead of the individual url's.

Also, if I click on it, the address in the searchbar comes up as http://hometown@aol.de/debbysmore then quickly redirects to the paypal login page.

Seems a bit suspect to me but has anyone else had similar?

another thing I forgot to mention is that after being redirected to paypals login, I don't get the secure site icon on my taskbar, but there is one that doesn't look quite right on the screen

 

If it was from Paypal it would say:

Dear (whatever your real name is ),

NOT Dear Paypal member.

100% SCAM.

Bin it and any others that do not address you by your real name.

 

Had something like that too from Paypal, get it off your pc pronto !
