Water to turbo on cosworths Q
Seen a few cosworths recently with no water running to turbo now i have and wondered if this is bad for the turbo does this do it any harm having no water connected or does it do it harm ? just incase guys thinking of doing the same

People disconnect them as it puts less stress on the radiator and cooling system of the car. Its also one less thing to go wrong and leak. T34's and T4's get away without watercooling as long as you don't switch the car off straight away after giving it death.
You MUST use watercooling on the more modern roller bearing Turbos as they have alot less oil circulating through them and so NEED the watercooling.
Well thats my views anyway, but I have met 3 year old sheep more technically aware than me.

porkie is quite right, i got away with it on a t34 for 2 years but my mate ruined 2 cores also on a t34.
different engines, different drivers come into play here aswell. water is back on mine now after seeing my mates.

MMmm thinki will just keep it then guys , thanks for the replys heard also that the water just boils up in them with the heat , and does it no good
