ok just bought the paint and thinners for the spraying of my front bumper, got me a new gravity feed gun etc, but need to check on a couple of things first,

The first thing is how much thinner do i need? i am going to be using 0.5 ltrs of diamond white
the second thing is prep, when i have sprayed the bumper got a finish i am happy with, do i then mop it/cut it with cutting compond? is this correct and also is there anything elsei should know please?

u not primering the bumper?, or just spraying over the orignal colour?

if you are usin cellulose paint then you need to mix the paint 50/50 with the thiners , give it a few coats of paint or it will be too thin , dependin upon your finished result it may need yet may not need copound to get the finish perfect,.

bumper will be prepped and primed as its a 88 spec thats all smoothed etc but i wanna chop it up a tad so wll need prepping

on my cut out 90 spec bumper, it had some chopping about, always look at the primered finish for imprefections in the filler/bumper,

i must of primered mine several times after imperfections showed up in the filler.

good point mate, goona take this really slow and make sure any imperfections are sorted
