great stand Pf, we came over and had a look around, the judges only spent a couple of secs at any stand they didnt exactly look at the cars of chat to any of the owners, so it was just done on the angle they looked at make sure u all get subs in your cars for next year

had a glance past ur stand. cant say im a fan of fords but i did see two that i loved. the rs200 and the rally style saph. very nice. well done to the two owners for making em look so mint.
in saying that... the rest of the cars looked very average for a performance and modded car show thats intended for the 'fast and furious' styled cars ive seen u mention in this post. i see the little banter thrown at x2c's direction that they all had chav chariots and halfords motors. please could u explaint to me how u think that all there cars are all show and no go??
did u not see the supercharged 306? or even the fully modded 200sx? maybe u missed the evo 7 and the rx8, the veilside skyline too perhaps.
if this is all just friendly banter then all well and good. but it doesnt really look that good from a newbies point of view to read this.

All that was said was that the judges needed shooting as our stand did look very good with balloons and flags that you could see from the other side of the show and so fantastic heavly modded engines plus everything else!
No one said anything about X2C until vix mentioned it! In fact no one even knew who won coz we had all pissed off home bored to wait around and find out! TBH before this post i'd never heard of X2C so wouldn't know what you are all about to slagg off!

if u decided to read my post u would see i dont generally like fords BUT the rs200 caught my eye which i love as did the rally style saph. im not a fan of fords no but i give credit where credit is due. im on many sites, and know andy(frogford) quite well. your stand was set up well and it was a tidy setup. not mocking it in the slightest. my comments was as a new member i read through posts. yes im on x2c and yes i heard about the site. but i didnt join to create a cat fight. so perhaps you need to chill out hay as hostility isnt here nor is it needed.
flo dont take offence matey. no harm is intended with my comments. just when i went past i couldnt see no engine bays on show. im sure the fords had some impressive engine mods.

I was one of the people who arranged the stand and thank you for your comment of the set up! you should have came onto the stand to look at some of the cars then you would have seen a lot of very nice cars with there bonnets up showing off some very heavy modded engine bays! But firstly you need to come passed the front row of cars and see the other 26 georgous cars there!

perhaps that would have been the reason why i thought ur cars were average then. as the car i noticed was the rs200. which i have to say i loved.

r33 veilside skyline. stage one and part stage two tuned, full retrim in cream leather plus install etc. i also drive a street sleeper rover 220 coupe targa turbo running 300bhp
so i do appreciate all aspects of modifying

surely even a standard RS is a performance car?
Ok so its not huge BHP but it's still a performance car???
Sorry no offence but this is where its all gets confused.....your car doesn't have to have an outrageous bodykit to be a perfomance car...standard is good too...look at the older escorts..mk1 and mk2? people have more respect for them now than ever and the soon will happen for later cars.....standard series 1's are well sought after....!!
we just all went to meet up, have a barby and a good day........and the comments were between friends towards the judges....

im thoroughly enjoying myself. i love winding people up
and if u had come over to see th x2c stand you would notice my skyline was on there! i can appreciate the hot hatches and all the work gone into them as i had one of the best modded 306's in the country a few years back. and ive owned performance cars. so ive been at both ends of the scales.
just think the whole wanker lights etc is a touch lame. i mean us boy racers (well the ones who spend shit loads on our cars/kits/wheel/engine dress up etc) hate wanker lights. but wanker lights are thos stupid led washer jets. me personally i have a neon ground kit. but it is on there and used for the car shows as its wat people look at. my car is a show car, therefore i give the crowd what they want. i dont think they look that bad.........providing you cannot see the tube. i mean omg have you seen some of the escorts down southend who just let them hang lower than there sideskirts!!!!!
anyways. each to there own.

saph cossies...not sold anymore....every single saph cossie still alive is on the road so it seems like they're loads of em......cos theyve sold all they could whilst on the market many moons ago....probably before you were even born!!!
there arent as many skylines as evos or scoobies purely because of the price of a skyline....oh and the dreaded insurance!!! your beginning to see more r32 and 33 skylines at the shows now cos theyre getting older and cheaper....skylines are still being made so as they get older youll see far more of them!
i know what you're saying about the standard car show bit but we went as a club, not as a modded car stand........ it takes all types to make car fanatics!! i have respect for all....trust me, its harder to restore a car and keep it clean than it is to buy new bits for it and make it faster!!!
please don't take this as an inuslt as its not meant at all but i know it can sound wrong on the net but i'm presuming you're probably quite young (which there's nothing wrong with..i am just jealous before you all say it!!!)....as you get older you will start to hate barry bolt on's...neons and general halfords shyte......i think thats all the point was......
