major help needed

Default major help needed

ok peeps - am hoping to be on track next sunday at ND- finally got my MOT, got my RR booked but the steering aggggghhhh

I replaced the bottom column bush while doing I took out the pinch bolt on the rack - anyway have put back together passed its MOT but the steering now does not return to straight wheels- just stays where you point it- i need to fix asap

any one with any ideas?

I have taken the steering wheel off and ensured that the white bush underneath is located correctly but still no joy

make sure the lower bush is sitting properly, a lot of the time they get damaged when people put the steering wheel back on.

I got two bushes in the pack to replace do they both need to go in the old ones where that bad there was nothing left!

also do they have a specific way round?

The angle the steering column comes down at. Was it a nice fit back into the rack ?
