Default Warped disks... can they be fixed?

can you get slightly warped disks skimmed? if so where from?

dont fancy chucking away a perfectly good set of disks... theyve got a slight vibration when braking hard

surely they are not perfectly good if they are warped? if they are standard just replace with new, not that expensive.

not standard, theyre v. epensive disks

also all a disk is is a bit of metal, so if you make them flat again, then theyll be perfectly good

only if they can be skimmed to within manufacturers specs

should be around Ł30 to get some disks skimmed. most machine shops will be able to do it

Are you sure it's not your TCA bushes worn slightly?
Are your hubs slightly out of true?

AMD and ABP Motorsport can reface your discs on the car using a PRO-CUT brake lathe so they run true taking into account any small intolerance. Tis not cheap though - about Ł40 a side so depends on how much your discs are.
