hi gents i need some help my mate has broken down and he needs to check if the unit is working or not any help on testing it would be great

turn ignition on....

undo the hose from the fuel filter to the metering head at the metering head inlet point and pull it up a little bit..


you should get fuel pissing out



then tighten it back up..


next ..


crack open one of the bolts from one of the red fuel lines ontop of the metering head..


if fuel comes out, theres nothing wrong with it..


if nothing comes out, its seized and either needs replacing or pulling apart and stripping...




it will take less than 5 minutes to do this test m8

looks like its seized then mate he aint got any fuel coming out of the metering head but he has at the btm of the filter,so ill send him my spare one up then mate
