I have a new head for fitting to my RS turbo escort.. the cam that came in the new head seems to have a higher lift on the cam lobes, but the old cam was supposedly a piper T2 cam but the lobes are lower lift, are the piper T2 cams just re-ground origionals? so therefor being reground there going to have the lower lift but its still the better cam? or is the higher lift(unknown) turbo cam better? Cant really check the durations and so on so its a bit of an unknown.. any input apreciated so we can choose which one to use and carry on building it up(in the kitchen lol).
