Well if his mate can get carbon thought at a reasonable price I may just buy it off of him, can get loads of plain weave stuff, but it dont look as good as the till weave, plus the till weave is stronger than the plain

Jason,
the splitter is in the office,it was taken off when loading on trailor Mike should have a carbon one ready Iam having a 95ron engine built

sounds about right, I'm having a shop around atm, but getting hold of carbon suppliers in the uk is a git, and stuff from the us is half the price, but only in bulk and atm I dont need to order it in bulk.

the problem we have over here is super plus has been withdrawn from the market,at the moment I have to travel over the border north to get super for my sapph I bring back 6/700 litres at a time...as I have a power car I want the scort so I can fill up with 95 and not have det issues Harvey says 330 to350 with lowered compression and cams....he's trying a honky engine on the dyno for me to see how far he can take it

Looks more like a plain weave to me,

We use a few tonnes of Carbon a year making windmill blades, our supplier is Carr, http://www.carrreinforcements.com/ dont know if they will sell to an individual though and such small quantity, but worth a try.
