A month and a bit ago a user of pF put up a post saying he needed some parts, I had these parts so I sent a reply saying he could have them for free, I didn't need them anymore and I wasn't going to have another RS turbo so they were surplus to my requirements(they're only about £20 new anyway) all I wanted was the money it cost me for postage and a jiffy bag etc, £5, as he needed them asap I sent them straight away saying as he was a regular pF user and also part of a well known "supplier" I trusted him,
No cheque, sent a pm, he replied saying he'd send it again, no cheque, Now it's been 44 days, it's only £5 but it's the principle, I tried to help out a stranger, and it's cost me a fiver.
Shall I name and shame? I've sent him a copy of this message too, so we'll see if he has the balls to say why he'll try and rip off an honest person who has just tried to help someone out. It proper fooks me off, I'm starting to feel like why do I bother helping people.

I don't understand why people do this, I get it all the time at the garage - people come in and ask for things, parts etc. saying they'll pay me on such and such, and they disappear!! Now I don't let anyone have anything unless they pay up there and then.

Personally I hate owing anyone money be it a £1 or £100.

I've been getting mucked about recently with people not sending stuff as well.
not from on here though.

i paid on paypal and after it happened i put in a complainent.
they decided in my favour but cant retrive the funds from the fellas account!

if they become avaliable at a later date i should get them.

ive just done the same thing too,and ive had to fork out the cost of it cos the chap said he needed it dont even know him,just told me he needed a part for his non ford which i was able to supply and paid for,a week after i sent it i pm him and asked if he had recieved it and he said no,that was nearly three weeks ago surley doesnt take that long!!,thing is i will help anyone if i can no matter who they are!!

I has some right bother with this twat,I sent him money for a crank shaft,cash in a registered envelope,I didnt receive the crank,I had to make tons of calls to his work as he woundnt answer his mobile,in the end it got me so wound up I threatend to go down and drag him out of the shop,his brother then contacted me to try and sort it situation out ans I eventually got my money
