Got the go-karting bug at the moment (went to daytona, Milton Keynes on saturday...i'm bruised to fu*k but still good!! )

and i've been thinking maybe i could organise something for a sat / sunday for the board?!?!?!?!

It would be at Daytona Raceway, in MILTON KEYNES which is quite accesible from most places and one of the best in the country

These are the options at the moment....but you would probably be looking at about £50-55 each at present:

Mini-Enduro
A one hour endurance race for 10 or more teams (of two drivers). There is timed practice for all drivers. 30 teams available.
(From £100 per team Mon-Fri)(From £110 per team Sat-Sun)

Mini-prix
A 40 minute race for 20 or more drivers, with 10 minutes practice/qualifying. Maximum of 30 drivers available.
(From £60 per driver Mon-Fri)(From £70 per driver Sat-Sun)

The Daytona 250
A 2.5 Hour endurance race for 10 teams or more (four drivers per team). 30 teams available.
(From £235 per team Mon-Fri)(From £215 per team Sat-Sun)

GP Heats
Each driver has a practice session and four heats. The top drivers will go through to the Semi-Final with the top 15 drivers racing in the Grand Final. Minimum billing 40 drivers.
(From £70/Mon-Fri)(From £75/Sat-Sun)

Just need to see who may be inetersted and to see what races are preferred, so if you could just mark the POLL.

I'll see if this has much interest and then i'll speak to Daytona about booking a day soon, before we lose the weather.....would be a good day for all to meet, etc and put your racing where your mouth is!!!

I have done a long endurance at Daytona in Milton Keynes before against some boys from Jordan F1 who seem to live down there!! The karts are really well maintained as is the track. The karts have a display on board to tell you the lap number and your last lap time as well

I did about 40 laps in a night race and have never been so knackered in my life (Well my forearms anyway Could hardly turn the last lap!!)

My back is still bruised black from the pro karts at St Eval last week as well

put me down for that. was at daytona in mk a couple of weeks ago. its very hard to organise a event like this (ive done it before) cos when you book they want a massive deposit, we normally do the mini prix, and to get 20 peeps who will pay and all make the same date is not easy.
i will defo come just let me no.
