think i will stick to the 9" motorsport diff then.
bad luck for him as with all that testing you would have thought the diff would have failed earlyer if it was going to.

Shit luck for Rod doing his diff in...
To what sort of torque is 10.5"Jag diff rated? Probably not what Rod has been pushing through it?
I bought a 9" motorpsort diff as it was supposed to unbreakable but I guess I nothing is!

Very well done
Unlucky Mark and Rod, but fair play for giving it a go though, nice one!!! and there is always next year you two speed freaks Well done for keep trying to push the records further, who would have guessed one day some people would get a Cossie to do 200mph+ awesome!!!
Sounds like there are some mental mental times being run, 10 second quarters for road cars are mental, unbelievable how far all these cars have come from the end of the nineties! I remember seeing Hadlands car doing a 11 second something, thinking they couldn't possibly go any faster

I was just told Paul Johnsons best 1/4 mile was a 11.94 @125mph which he has personal doubts about since all the other runs where between 12.9-13.5 @110-125mph. Can anyoner else confirm these times?
Either way fucking crazy times PJ you must be well chuffed

why oh why did rod not put a safe topspeed run in the bag first?
Usually the ultimate in prep - cant believe they never did this as it would have been so strong. Congats to all how went and tried though

Was the MK1 golf and the Corrola front wheel drive or four wheel drive? those times are absolutely mental
"Paul Johnsons best 1/4 mile was a 11.94 @125mph"
That is stonking! Well done! Was that the fastest front wheel drive?

it would seem cozzys aint got a chance ever again against these skylines, there wernt owt that could touch them off the line on the 1/4, its all about how much youve got now and if youve got a skyline your loaded anyway, was very impressed with the scoobys and evo's, if it isnt the case already then the cosworth is fast becoming fucked against these things imo

I really don't know how Mark broke Rods diff there at all..
he set off at about 2k and just pootled up the 1/4 track, cant have done more than 2-3000 rpm in each gear then just stopped and turned round
i thought by the way he drove on the first attempt that he was just checking out fueling etc...
Tib was flying
Golf was flying
some of the "High power" cars were not upto much really
that blue 9 sec scooby absolouteley STANK of race fuel/ toulene probably running on fooking methanol or some shit like that
The skylines did absolouteley nothing for me this time , they just didnt seem to be on the ball alongside the evos and scoobies
FOOOOOOOOOOOking freezing all morning and i now have sunburn from the afternoon.
