Mobile phone is broke....but who do i take it to?!?!?
my mobile works but the screen is completly blank (sometimes has random lines down it)
i need to take it in to get repaired so i rang O2 and they said take it to the O2 shop, but surely i would have to take the phone to where i bought the contract from (the link), whats the phoen got to do with O2????
Phone is on contract and was told by O2 that I should have a guarentee on it but will they give me a replacement phone in the mean time?!?!?!? never had to egt one repaired before!!!
I NEED MY FOOOOOOKIN PHONE!!!!
can anyone shed some light on where to take it!??!

the fone came with the contract, so 02 paid for the handset!!! take it to them! they want you to use the fone so they get more cash off you and aint gonna let the link reair it cos it dont matter to them how long it would take em!!!!!!!!!!

depends on your contract, but if they said they would then demand one in the shop.
take no prisoners with mobile fone people, cos they would take you for every last penny you had without thinking bout it, i know......... i used to work for one!!!
go get a virgin mobile, they are the bollox, me and my wife have had em for years and had no problem with em at all!!!!! have had contract fones with several companies but always end up back with virgin!!!!
good old Branston!!!!

You've not said what phone it is, but all nokia phones come under a warrany which allows you to take to any nokia repair center (usually carphone warehouse) who will fix it FOC. All they check is the serial number of the phone to find out the warranty information.
I bought a nokia 6230 off ebay back when they had just come out and were very hard to get hold of. It had a fault with it and the software had to be realoded. I took it to nokia center who checked the serial number, verifiied it was underwarranty and repaired it FOC. It didnt even matter that I'd bought offline off ebay.

If your insured smash it to pieces and get a new one. I find if you let em try to repair it it can take weeks. So its easier to break and get them to send to you a new one out on next day delivery
