what are the different types of ecu that come on cossies?and whats L8 and P8 and pectel etc??

L6 2wd saff
L8 4wdsaff 2 types cat and none cat
P8 Escort big turbo
ANT GOT A CLUE BUT THE small escort turbo had a dif ECU

Pectel is the baby Board inside the ecu not the same in P8 or L8 L6 L1
i sure L8 L6 L1 can use the same board but not chip chips are dif as in the KB in the memory i think they were
L1 64 KB
L6 128 KB
L8 256 KB
P8 512 KB
BUT DONT QUOTE ME ON KBs
L1 you take the chip out and put in a sub board and re programme the chip
L6 L8 you take the chip out with the sub board and put in a PECTEL sub board and re programme the chip
& P8 IS PECTEL BUT CAN HAVE A SUB BOARD ADDED
