heat shield on zorst.......

one of the bolts that holds the heat shield over the back box has gone and its resting on the zorst. and making an awful rattling sound on tickover and when i go over a bump. i have removed it thismorning and think it should be ok but thought i better check........ the back box cant get that hot......... can it??

do you think itl be ok without it????

How much clearance is there?
What car is it (some people have a username that isnt their only car!)

Ive done the same on other cars before without a problem.
