Default A very important topic

Who thinks this general discussion forum should only have purely car talk?

I see alot of people complaining about non car related posts I dont get that, all i can say is they may not see this as a community?????I feel that say for example talking to Cola on here about what i would like to do to her is fine ...or discussing religion etc etc

Be interesting to here all your views!!!!

I'm quite happy with things as they are. It's good that we have lives outside of the cars and it's nice to hear peoples thoughts and opinions on other subject matter. It's good that we can discuss topics away from cars it shows we aren't all complete anoraks.

If people don't want to read posts that aren't car related then it's up to them to not bother. But if people are honest the threads that arent car related seem to be faster moving and have a higher number of posts than many of the car related threads

Just IMHO of course

To discuss about everything and anything, not necessary about Ford. (But nothing adult in content please.) - That's what it says for the general area innit.

And lol @ What you wanna do to me, like annoy me on PF?

DB: Shhhhhh

I just want summat to read when I'm supposed to be doing work.

I take the phrase 'General Discussion' to mean exactly that. I'm sure we aren't all total anoraks who have nothing else in our lives than our cars - OK some people maybe - but we all have opinions on the world.
I think the difficulty is sometimes people let their emotions get the better of them which turns certain threads into slanging matches. But then we wouldn't be human if we didn't would we.

Phil,

You've put up a post saying "A very important topic"............

... but I thought all of your posts were VERY important, so why should this one be any different

Well you COULD have a General CAR/FORD discussion room, a non car/ford related room, and a lonely saddo (im sorry i mean muppet) room.

but this is fine...

I like it the way it is. Cars arent the only topic of convo in life im sure, so different opinions on different subject matters is cool.

Mans Ass Invader - Everyone posts there u goon, i mean live there and post nowhere else, like some lonely sadact chatroom

Earings-- Not BIG hoops, unless you some council estate single mum with a bad perm and 20 multi-coloured kids with odd shoes and dirty faces, or even worse, a wannabee that likes to pretend you one of them, lol.

Right then, I'm with ya. So that's yes to big gold hoops, a knuckleduster, some gold teeth (will manky grey fillings do?) skagheads in rotation and a couple of kids of different colour and creed.

But do I really have to be in a scoob? Won't a battered saph do, or is that too close to another thread on here?

Pretty much outlines the acceptable content here as seen on the front page.

I believe (information supplied by a secondary party) that if you scroll down a bit further on the index there are more forums

These forums (some may say crazy and quite irrational to have on this site) are there for purely car chat only, about the specific model of ford that you want to chat about.

IS THIS NOT ENOUGH FOR THESE PEOPLE

as one great keyboard warrior once said
