Default FAN PROBLEM ON COSSIE

fitted another pair of fans at the weekend to my car as only 1 was working.
last night noticed that they wern't kicking in.
checked this morning thinking fuse relay or wiring but all were ok.
jumped power to the fans an nothing happened , neither are seized. would have thought it possible that 1 fan could just pack up but both together seems unusual .
anyone got any ideas before i replace them again?

Had endless problems with the fans on mine, not kicking in when they should, in the end my mechanic figured it out but not sure what, think the wires end up needing replacing.

Did you give the fans direct live and earth feed?

probe around with a volt meter and if pos try running a 12v supply straight to the fans to check they work.

my fans werent working either, try bridging the fan switch on the bottom of the rad.if that doesnt work try bridging across the relay in the fuse box.(relay should be yellow)mine worked intermittently for a while and found out it was the relay gradually frying itself!!gave up after a while.

nope tried all this, fans do not work with a direct live & earth, there is power to the fan switch & no breaks in the wiring, the fans have just stopped

So you've removed the multiplug and fed the fan side of the plug with a direct +ve and -ve?

Definately your problem is with the fans or the wiring between the fans and that multiplug then.
