thats clearly a test model, very much doubt its the final product, lotus aint gonna sell a car with tyres that thin

spy pics aint they.. check out all the black tape over the bumpers and badges.. i think it looks nice.. refreshing change to the current model

i know its the test model.........but the back end is shit with the new engine cover like that. the current model looks alot better

I like the look of it. If it's a testing car, for wind noise/wipers/seals then it may have whatever set of wheels they had to hand.

The VX220 uses front tyres like that. Its a safety thing apparently. makes the car more understeer more rather than oversteer. Safer for the type of people they were marketing the car for apparently.

Is it deffo the new Elise and not the new VX220Turbo?

The Elise will be using the Toyota engine I presume, so you could well be right there Steve........
