Depends what you mean by "heat resistant" in this instance a large portion of the heat is refleteced away and never even enters the carbon, so that reduces heat to the paint, and the rest of the effect that is useful is that it conducts the heat to a larger area of paint rather than concentrated in one place.

Chip,
If only I had taken a photo of what you were wearing at Castle Combe, I would have had ideal retaliation material - alas, I left the camera in the car .
Rich,
It's a LOT more heat resistant than the plastic rear bumper .
Franco,
No, the initiation ceremony is FOC (by the way, can you bend over and touch your toes? ).

I think you just wanted to use the words Black and Full Length in the same sentence, reminds you of your special friend Mandingo

I used the 3 defi gauge holders, cut the mounts off.. and glue gunned them to the tray under the stereo..
then cut the neccesary bits out and fibre glassed around the frame
lots and lots of filler.... smoothing and teture paint..
voila
job done
ill see if i can find a pic

My Lawyers had plenty of exercise with my copyrighting fella...........
Its called lateral finking me ol cocka.
Only difference i've done is mount then at the top not the bottom, as the stereo snapped the outer lips on the centre consol
Fugging centre consols are a joke!
Might see how mine goes with use, but i might just have to PIRATE that idea..........
Cheers fella.
