hi all,
i phoned my local ford dealer yesterday to ask how much they would charge to fit the outer front driveshaft gators on my escort cos.
they quoted me £144!!!
i think this is a little excessive!
would anyone else say this is steep?
any tips on how to go about this job as i think i'm gonna do it myself at that price!!!

itll be about right , as for doing it yourself make sure youve got a friend or friends to help you as its a bitch of a job, definetly not a one man job, think its summat to do with the anti roll bar and levering it about to get the the drive shaft out of the hub.
