phantom winger is the best pub to have it at i reckon, 5 mins away from the
other location suggested, very easy to find, get of M6 heading to blackpool,
(which is after jct 31A) then turn of to left (signposted preston/garstang)
turn left at roundabout, then turn first left, then on roundabout is the phantom winger, tht is north bound directions, south bound exactly same
dry mate, can you pls copy/paste, these direstions into original post,

No, that is where the RSOC meet WAS. It is now at the Anicient Oak......
Off the M55 at junction 1 or M6 at junction 32, towards Preston on the A6, take the first left IMMEDIATELY after getting off the roundabout/motorway junction, follow the road down to a roundabout and go straight on into the pub car park.....

Tony, they shut the Phantom Winger for a refurb so we used the Aincient Oak as a temporary haunt, but they started bringing out free chicken nuggets, dips and chips as we brought a fair bit of custom to the pub for the evening and they started reserving an area for us.
At the Phantom Winger, they used to reserve us an area but it never used to be the same place and on some occasions, we couldn't fit every one in the area. Plus there was no free food!

The pub needs to be easy to find...
If the plan is Preston, then people who don't know Preston may struggle to find the docklands unless given some decent directions. I don't rate the Phantom Winger as a good pub to meet at IMO.
