Sorry, but i am english, and american history aint my thing not something i am interested in, as it don't affect my life IMHO.
All i was doing was postin a picture of someones good art work.
If some people are offended by the choice then i am sorry but those people are looking to deep into the reasons why it was painted this way...i guess people who thing race is an issue all the time then you really need help as it seems to me that at any chance for anything that is once linked with being a racist should be for the rest of eternity. Well the St George's flag seems to be this also, yet how many of these do you see at euro 2004, is there a real difference there.
It was simply copied from a car from a tv show....best have the whole world ban the dukes of hazard because it could have a racist car in the show.
For me i don't care what race you are, the flag for me doesn't stand for anything racist, if it does for you then i am sorry but i don't live in the era of the cival war, i don't agree with slavery which still goes off and not in this country, i don't live in the states where people appear to be racist towards people of different origin's.

btw, the cam cover looks wicked. well done and everything, but unless the engine is in something american i don't think that it suits. hopefully it will inspire people to have other designs done though, and we'll start to see some good old 70's stylee custom paint jobs and detailing coming back in. eagle on the bonnet anyone? flames? jacked up rear end? mag slots? now we're talking.
