Default Need advice, keeping copious amounts of beer cold ...

Got a BIG BBQ coming up soon, with in excess of 50 people, and of course, a cold bottle of suds is going to be the main attraction.

Anyone ever hired an industrial fridge, if so what kind of cost?

Do I just put crates of beer in the freezer (will have a chest freezer empty, but just a small one), and take a crate out at a time for people to dig in to (put the warmest on bottom etc?). Thought about a biiiig bucket filled with ice although at a couple of quid a bag this could be an expensive option.

Anyone got any thoughts

store them in your garage if you got on as they are pretty cool as its dark or fill the bath with cold water and stick a load of ice cubes in there

might do the paddling pool thing, as I guess crates etc are gonna sink to bottom and it will take the sun AAGGGEEESSS to warm it up esp if covered
