It still sounds like the car has a major air leak, a split hose, probably the metering head to turbo hoseas that nearly allways splits. Ke jetronic really doesnt like air leaks, unlike the cossies which if they get an air leak the revs rise, the S1 and S2 will just die.

cool, thanks mate. the car is in the garage at the mo.

i did check all hoses and only found the breather one to be fooked.

could have missed it tho.
