I don't know concerning Esc Cos's but when i changed to an electric one there was a right angled metal bracket which held onto 2 of the motor screws. The other 2 i had to drill myself after lining it up.

Dunno whether that's right but it works ok in my saff.

When I dad mine on my old saph, I had to make up some brackets to hold the cover on, the motor was ok, but I do think the bracket is car specific, here are some pics of the conversion on a m8's car

You need a mk6 escort sunroof tray mate, it will have the 3 threaded holes, you need to hold the motor on.

Does you motor look like it would fit onto this?
