£833!!! my mate got one of similar spec, but amd athlon (thus superiour cpu) for £600 brand new from a shop with warranty etc etc.

turbo man i think you will find amd dont do a 2800 mhz cpu for a laptop

a 2800xp+ is just a 2ghz cpu

this is also a sony what brand is the one your mate got
acer?
pc world own brand.com ?
currysgetitonfinance.org ?

sonys are very expensive for what you get

they are also very expensive to get repaired if they go wrong as you have to send them to france

but they are a good laptop
