Default 2wd Cosworth Brakes, Whats the best replacement?

Hiya, im gunna change the pads and discs on my 3dr soon as they are getting a bit low. Whats the best set-up for fast road use? I was thinking EBC set-up, but just wanted some views on it.

Cheers
Mike

EBC warp too quickly IMHO. Pagid discs and Pads are about the best standard size and fitment stuff you can get, all IMHO.

Agree EBC wear out very quickly, you could try black diamond discs with predator pads

Agree with everything - EBC are shit, Ferodo are very good

OE Discs (As in proper ford discs) are the best I have ever used!

I've got drilled disks, never cracked, with Ferodo DS2500 pads.
My cousin also has drilled disks, also never cracked.

The Porsche discs are cast with the holes in, most 'performance' drilled discs are simply plain discs with holes drilled in - a bad idea IMO.

It's probably your pads that have warped your discs mate

hmmmm, would be interesting to see whos have cracked then. Might steer away from the drilled disc way then, and go for OE discs and decent pads. RAN: who did you get your pads from? was it a trader on here? i cant remember now.

i was thinking of the tar.ox groove+hole combi, and some DS2500's as they sound the best so far. Can you get them for both the front and rear?

Cheers
