Clio 182 Trophy
Always liked the 172s/182s but would never buy one as it a 2.0 fwd car like already have , my next car is gonna be rwd or 4wd.
But back to the point which is i was really impressed with the tweaks that renault had made. The power is the same as a std 182 it isnt lightend it by getting rid of air con etc like the 172 cup was . They have just given it bigger brakes lighter wheels and most impressivly some trick suspension setup with a seperate tank for the suspension fluid. THe autocar reviewer was saying it gives improved handling over the 172cup with its stiff suspension but is better over rough surfaces.
Ive seen this kinda of suspension setup on that awesome norweign mk1 and on motorbikes. Both made by ohlins i think. My question is is it possible to get these made up for any car or would the expense be to much?

The suspension on the Clio is not made by Ohlins. Its made by Sachs
Lots of Companies make remote resevoir suspension and quite a few people on here including me run it.
Ohlins is THE best money can buy in my opinion. Sean had Ohlins suspension for his Escort but never used it, he now has it on his Exige
I run Leda remotes. Been happy with them so far. Might upgrade to some proflex or something like that at a later date.
Here you can see the Remote in the rear arch
