Help I need an Nylon Pivett part for my RS500
HELP........
I need a Nylon Pivett for my RS500 Cosworth (Part No: 1648478) Ford said it is a standard part but they haven't got one! Can anyone suggest where I can get one from.
It is for the clutch release arm!

I believe Ford do stock it, but it is kept in a top secret nuclear bunker, 20 miles below the artic circle with only one way in or it, guarded by the abominable snowman. Last time I went there was a couple left, along with a vast stock of rocking horse excrement.

As Phil said. Last time i tried to get one i was told they were no longer made or kept in stock.
We had to fabricate a new mechanism to put it back together. I would draw you a diagram to show you how but it was over two years ago and i can't even remember what i did yesterday
You could try one of the breakers on here who might have a box in stock and could rob it for you. Bernie (Gearboxman) might have something. Burtons might do something, they seem to be making loads of discontinued parts at the moment.
Can't think of anyhting else at the min
