£2 billion plus is earmarked for the "honour" of hosting the 2112 games so going on past initial expenditure figures 5 billion will probably be closer.

I have not read or seen a single word about it so I can assure you thats 10000% not true.

I am not some Sun reading, 'believe anything that I am told' fool either by the way a large part of my Business studies degree was Tourism and Leisure management.

Yes I am only looking at what could happen if it all goes right and I do have my rose tinted glasses on when looking back at some previous events. BUT whats wrong with a little hope, enthusiasm and positivity????

I'm all for moaning if we make a pigs ear of it, but until then, I'm all smiles

Well actually only LONDON residents will pay for it. I expect a serious hike in the Council Tax fairly soon. Sure all those people celebrating will be soo happy to pay an extra £500 a year

Optimistic thinking. You reckon the little shits who nick your car radio want to get a Gold medal? Hell they'll only do Boxing so they can mug you easier.

Right up to the point when England were knocked out and there was a serious riot.

I dont recall it being called the "Great Britain 2012" just London. And besides they're only holding th Olympic Tiddly Winks in Wales. They know that anything else needs opposable thumbs to play, and you Welshies arent high on those
