Alpine/Ipod
Just bought a new headunit with a ipod connection box(allows you to run the pod off the headunit!!)
Was wondering if anybody had fitted one? If so where did you mount the connection box
As i ain't got a clue where to stick it!!

He loves it! & the Ipod thingy! he uses it all the time!
tis a smart lil gizmo! when u plug it in u get a Alpine logo on your ipod which makes it all worth while!

Franco i have just done this in My A6 and its the bollox
Its behind the dash in my car all hidden away with about 12" of lead in the glovebox so you can take it in and out
i paid £59. for the unit and £20 to have it fitted
Not looked back since its the best thing you can do with it i have the alpine DVD 1004 unit
The guy who fitted it is based in South Woodham so not a million miles away from you either took him an hour or so

Fitted mine last night..............Not much room behind the cossie dash so ended up putting it nice &neatly in the glove box
Only to find out, the missus thought it would be a good idea to lend me ipod to my sister!!!!!(who's now in bloody spain!)
WOMEN................Can't live with them........!
I ended up getting the CDA-9855R as i couldn't justify the DVD unit.
