Default Buying a Mini-Moto

Hi All,

Buying the Nippa one for his b-day next week, wheres the cheapest place to get one fleee-bay ??? ive had a look on there but cant really find owt, some charge £95 + £50 postage and some are £160 delivered,
not really looking for the cheapest, just dont wont it to drop to bits after 2 days of owning it

Anything to be aware of one buying one ??? i see there are a few different models out i.e. 2005 Mk11 Mk111, is there a couple of different engines out or are they all the same ??

Im only after an air cooled one and preferably with full fairing

Any Ideas -

Thanx Adi

i had one on these, but sold it for £130, if i had known u wanted it i would of saved it for ya...

mine was a 49cc BIG MOTO,

if ya dont want to get a fast one then get a big moto there more heavy, as for a small moto 49cc but more tuned and lighter,

there a website that i know of that sell these as wholesalers, if ya want i can sort u out with it, not to sure how much they are as one unit......

hope this helps

i mite get one aswell, heard off a biker mate that they are an absolute bastered to get parts for, and dont be surprised if the engine goes bang and they want you to pay double you payed for the bike originally. + you have to ship all parts to hong kong or taiwan or wherever if you want a warrenty job doing

My cousins got one already and your right there always breaking, no engine failures yet,but bits of weld etc snapping and the carbs always full of shit

There seems to be plenty of spares available on e-bay including a full engine for one Only £40 i think so not that bad

If you get one let me know where from please buddy,

Adi

Yes they do brake but doesn't everything ?? With a little knowledge of general mechanics there not adsactly rocket science to fix, as above my cousins has had faults of the carb blocking - just a point of dismantling and cleaning and then putting back together, chain broke - replaced pin/link Job Done !!!!

Anybody else intrested in one maybe we could do a bulk buy and save a few quids between us .

Need to get a move on with it though as its his birthday next sunday

the cheapest ones often on ebay are not always the best quality as you will find out when stuff breaks. These cheaper bikes also have no warranty either and getting parts for them will be a pain as no other seller will sell you spare parts if you have not bought the bike from them.

Adi - Im sure I can convince my mate to drop the price but there will have a to a few orders. I also did try doing a Passion Ford group buy a few months back but interest was not too overwhelming.
