talk about poor service pipex broadband i now need new isp??
called pipex to say moving in a week and the women said sorry we need a few weeks notice and tghe only thing i can do is cancel my account!!! been with them 2 years nearly and thats all she could suggest, how crap is that!! so now i have to bloomin look for a new isp for the new address, but dont think i can do that till bt switch on the new phone line?
looks like im gonna have to go for a week or so with no internet
so... im looking for atleast 1mb unlimited download

I had to give a few weeks notice when I moved house. I think it's so they can try and get your broadband ready for the day you move in.
You could always not cancel your account but tell them you're moving a few weeks from today. Might save you faffing around changing your ISP and paying more setup charges etc.

Just been there and done that.
Had to wait till they removed their marker from the line.
Of course they disconnected me at 6pm on a Friday and it was a Bank holiday so marker wasn't removed till the Tuesday, then had to wait a week for my new ISP to get BT to re-connect me.
