Default Wheel Spacers... Quick Q (+ FAO COssieMad?)

my mate's corsa...

he has ET38 wheels on there...

the correct offset is ET49

does that mean he'll be needing some 11mm spacers?

the wheels fit fine at the moment by the way... (even tho theyre so close to the caliper you can barely fit a sheet of paper between them!

also how much are spacers?

Sorry Jimbo, other way round.
If you put 11mm spacers on ET38's that would make it ET27 as really it is ET -38 blah blah blah, so I won't answer the rest of you questions!!!

d'oh! so basically theres bugger all he can do about it yeah, just live with it?

unless you can machine the wheels?

is there much point in doin anything about it if the wheels still fit?

You can machine about 2mm off the rear face only

ok so probably best just to leave it then yeah? after all it is a 1.2 corsa thats dropped 60mm and handling and traction aren't exactly issues
