drove an sti yesterday.( 1999 model silver modded to approx 320bhp) the guy was up for a straight swap for mine. It did feel quicker but more of a nissan micra to drive ( v easy) and quite loud. Did not like the build quality inside though (i know the escos is not the best build quality but it was better than the scooby)............. Dont know what to do now ! escort should feel quick but does not any more even though just been to power engineering (rr shootout) came 2nd with 355bhp and 331ft/lb torque. Prob should just buy a diesel!!!!!!!!!!
