Who's SSC, didn't they have the land speed record

You've also missed off NMS, who are quite popular when it comes to RST's.

Stu.H, I thought NMS did do RST's but I know for sure M.A.D DO NOT tune RST's (unless previous customer).

Add Flashpoint to the list and then I'll vote

Not quite 100% correct, I dont do any RST unless it is in for a Autronic fittment.

when i took my old rst to NMS, he did it as a favour as I had taken ones to him in the past, and yes it was one of the better standard ones he'd set up (hi Joe)

but he also said that because of all the crap out there that he gets to "set-up" he isnt doing them anymore

cant say i blame him TBH

Matt : I was told it was because he has too much work with what he does already and I suppose there isnt as much money in RSTs.

I always went to PE in Uxbridge however I believe they sub alot of their work out now. For a tune up I'd still go there but for mods I'd now go to Karl Norris. He seems to have built a very good reputation.

Imo the reason people aren't offering to tune RST's is that some of the cars we see are absolute sacks of rubbish and the people can barely afford to put petrol in them and when you tell them they need some £££ spending on them they don't have it.......... So you do your best with what you've got..... customer goes away summit else goes wrong with it..... tuner gets the blame because it's just been setup...... slagging off on internet etc etc....

We don't see a huge amount of RST's anymore and its really nice when a well turned out car turns up for some work...... which i'm affraid is getting less and less nowadays with cars getting as low as £500 now for early examples

Have found Power don't do an awful lot with rst's anymore but think their work has spoken for itself with my car(Keith B's old car) Still going strong at over 176'000 miles

Karl deserves his great rep He's rebuilt the head for mine, which Oli is putting in this weekend
