Hi,
Had my car set up 2 weeks ago. the tuner found a problem with the rising fuel rate and rectified it. had it back with a print out of 217bhp at 15psi.
ran fine for the first day. then started idleing really lumpy, and spluttering. the day after wouldnt come on boost. when it reached about 5psi of boost it would back off.
hes had the car back 3 times now and cant find any problems with it. he reckons it fueling fine, but when i had the spark plugs out they were white. he assures me its not running lean but might be slightly on idle. somthing to do with the cold start valve.
its really doing my head in now. last night i was going along in second gear and holding it at 5psi the tryed to raise it slightly to see where it was holding back, but instead it rapidly shot upto 15 and then dropped down to 5 causing a slight backfire.
ive spent alot of money on this engine and dont wanna see it go to waste. anything else i can try???

is the cold start disconnected? they run better without them so just pull the blue sensor off under the inlet manifold! or you say the plugs were white, possibly may be slightly overheating, have you checked the dizzyfor moisture?are the leads breaking down one of them maybe burnt out? check everything out thats connected! Boosts pipes are they cracked and holed, actuator pipe is it split anything is possible normally something stupid??
