Fitted my old sony head unit on saturday into new car sounds simple ehh well it was but on power up my sony headunit is saying CODE IN its a flush tilting screen , so cant get to buttons cause is not flipping down but i believe u enter sequence of codes through the remote now e-mailed sony but have no reply as yet and im driving round wa no tunes still any help appreciated guys thing the model is CDX-600R or something

will do why u say this ? just a guess lol , should the head unit bleep with the press of the remote ? because it does not ? dunno if battery is shot , but when press lil button on screen it beeps ?

 

i used to have a m600 till some pikey took ownership of it, it'll beep if you press the little lit button in the top right corner of the front panel

cant remember if it beep with the remote

 

Yes is not so good that head face does not come off
