how hard would it be to bend that bracket so it sits flush with the side of the cooler...

not worried about redrilling the hole or trimming the edge off...just dont want to snap it or worse still rip it off the cooler and leave a hole there!

any info welcome

simple in a vice

now I have re read the question I think it would look better as it is rather than all bent and misshaped - as the bit your bending is connected to the cooler - right ?

Still simple to do - just make an elongated hole for the bolt - then it wont look as bad

but is that not been made like that intentionally so that the cooling fan will fit inbetween the cooler and the bumper...?

the more I look the more I understand what you want - and that second pic helps....

Dont try re bending it straight - then putting another angle in - as thats impossible.

thats not what i wanted to hear!....fuck! it may have been made like that but they couldnt have tested it during summer...cus that single spal fan on the front dont keep it cool!

hence why i wanna try and bend it fit spacers so i can get the fan between the rad and cooler!

fucking arse! knew i should have got a pro alloy one!

yeah james as jano said, get it cut off and a new plate welded, most its gonna cost is 20 quid

the bend will bend back BUT it ya try to bend it again it will crack

also is there enought stretch for the hoses too

if there is then i would move it as far forward as poss and trim the bumper to get it right at the front
