looking at buying a mk6 rs2000 due to having to sell my series 2 cos i cant afford to run it at the mo,so want to go for one of these so theres no turbos etc to worry about for a while till i can afford cosworth ownership,anybody have anthing nice to say about em???

well im after one in that magenta colour,or aurailis blue or black ive heard the engines are indestructible if looked after!

oh right, my mates found a mallard green one i think, not sure what colours they come in but it's a 2 owner FFSH

I had one for about three years before I got the Escos. Most reliable car I ever owned. Not exactly quick off the line but holds top end well. One thing I'd suggest is not to lower it too much (I hacked through my wiring loom) and bung an exhaust on it as the standard one is useless. Honestly it was a good little (well big) car and if I could have kept it and bought the cossie I would have.

Cool, my mates got an RS2000 4X4 in tourmaline green its a minter, but he's getting it turbocharged which i think is a little wrong because the 4X4's aren't a common site!!
