Tiff,
You KNOW you would have regretted selling it. Why not get the brakes upgraded and enjoy some track days (no police cars on them ).

Hi Tiff,

Just got back into the country....... Would have been nice to make a sale, but glad you've still got it really. You know you'd only regret it in the end. What else can you buy for cossie money that'll give you the same enjoyment........ A week in Amsterdam maybe...That's about it though

I drove my cossie with 9 points for 3 years - just get out on a track day to get the speed issue out ya head, and the cruise round for the summer shows - job done!

Tiff

you selling it because you don't drive it that much ?? why don't you do a few trackdays in it like Mike said.

It's great fun out on track and it doesn't matter how quick/slow it is as long as you have a bit of fun in it thats the main thing

if you do sell it don't forget to take the wheels off for me

anyway best of luck what ever you decide

belive it or not Tiff I wouldn't mind a nice BMW 850i auto to doss about in cheap cars now

warleydaddy,

Tiff,

you have done the right thing imo.

You do need to get it on track though,so much fun and the buzz out of it.

Tiff,

You're fairly sensible, so you shouldn't have any problems.

You take it easy, and just have fun, and you'll love your cossie all over again. Once you'v done a track day, you'll never go back mate

You can take out track insurance if you are a bit worried doing a track day or so.

Once you get the confidence, experience etc.....you will feel better about it.

At the end of the day,it can be fixed anyway.

You don't need the brakes or suspension for a quick blast!

I went out in Popeyes car at Bedford with him and was really surprised how much fun it was for a standard car. Went really well

I hear he was going ALOT quicker later in the day as well

Just get out there! its ALOT easier than it looks

oh and Tiff, as dave said it can be fixed You do realise its an old Sierra and not a classic handbuilt 1903 'one of a Kind' multi squillion pound Bugatti don't you

Tiff

all you have to do is take your time around the track first the first few laps then when you get a kind of use to the track , give it a bit more beans

once you do a trackday in it you will love it

so am i having first dibs on your wheels if you sell it

cheers marco
