As a rough guess take off 25% mate.

That will prob be a bit more NI & tax than you will actually pay, so is on the safe side.

Dont mean to sound stoopid but your yearly salary is it just a case of dividing it by 12 to get your monthly salary b4 tax & NI!?

i.e.

20k a year is £1666.66 a month b4 tax
